THIS IS A RARE AND UNUSUAL BOOK TITLED "CHAD VALLEY PROMOTIONAL JIGSAW PUZZLES" BOOK COPYRIGHT 1990 AND IT IS SIGNED BY TOM TYLER & FELICITY WHITELEY, THE AUTHORS. IT IS COPYRIGHT 1990 AND IT IS ALSO A "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" COPY, AND IT WAS SIGNED ON THAT DAY, NOVEMBER 10TH, 1990. THE OTHER UNUSUAL THING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS THAT IT IS BOUND WITH A PLASTIC BINDING AND EVEN BETTER, A NUMBER OF THE PHOTOS IN THE BOOK ARE ACTUALLY COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS ATTACHED TO THE PAGES. IT MAKES THEM MUCH EASIER TO SEE AND IS A NEAT WAY OF DOING IT. NOT EVEN TO MENTION THE SUBJECT MATTER OF MANY OF THE PUZZLES SHOWN IN THE BOOK.
THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOK ARE THE FOLLOWING. CHAPTER 1 IS ON THE GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY, CHAPTER 2 IS IN THE CUNARD/WHITE STAR LINE, AND CHAPTER 3 IS ON THE REST OF THE PROMOTIONAL PUZZLES. THERE IS ALSO AN APPENDIX WHICH CONTAINS BOXES AND ALPHABETICAL INDEX. THIS IS A GREAT BOOK WITH A LOT OF WONDERFUL INFORMATION. GRAB IT NOW BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES. IT IS 62 PAGES LONG AND ABOUT 8 1/2" BY 12" IN SIZE.
THIS PUZZLE IS ONE OF MANY I HAVE LISTED THAT ARE FROM THE MASSIVE COLLECTION OF HARRY RINKER, THE RENOWNED COLLECTOR AND WRITER OF MANY DIFFERENT COLLECTORS BOOKS. HIS COLLECTION WAS OVER 5000 PUZZLES AND I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET A FEW OF HIS WONDERFUL PUZZLES.

THIS BOOK IS IN EXCELLENT OVERALL SHAPE WITH NO DAMAGE OTHER THAN GENERAL WEAR FROM USE OVER THE YEARS. THERE IS GENERAL WEAR ALONG THE EDGES AND BINDING EDGES FROM PAGE TURNING BUT ALL PAGES ARE STILL INSTACT AND ATTACHED. THERE IS ALSO ONE PEN MARK ON THE COVER IN THE AREA OF THE TITLE.
