Actually this auction is for one sign and one letterbox from the days when iron toy-makers issued toy versions of real-life streetscape features. Little kids used these to dress up their Arcade and Hubley toy vehicle collections. The cast iron letterbox is about four four inches, and its crisply embossed (and poorly highlight-painted) lettering reads "Letters" and "MAIL." Straight, good, solid, no cracks, no repaints, no distractions. I think only lightly played with. I am told that this piece is part of a Hubley set of toy vehicle go-withs. The double-sided "Don't Park Here" piece is about four and a half inches and appears to be nickel-plated steel, with some plating loss as pictured. It is solid and weighty and I think quite early. Neither piece is hallmarked. Starting low to give everybody an even chance. Paypal upon sale. No international shipping. Thank you.
