The SPG has scuffing on the lens but still works. It typically read ~200psi lower than my buddy on a full tank but at the end of the dive It read the same as other gauges- it has been that way I think from the start so I dont believe its a sign it is deteriorating - its just a quirk. This is a small thin gauge that stays out of the way on a dive- it does not have a boot but highland makes one that fits it.The MiFlex Hose is labeled as a 24" hose but that is a generous measurement that includes the threaded parts. It is 23" when connected to tank and SPG, and when connected to your tank the end of SPG is 26" from your first stage. I prefer short hoses but even for me (average height woman) it was a little short so that is why I replaced it. If you are a tall guy this will be very short for you. The great thing about this hose is that it is thin and stays flexible under pressure.
The Miflex hose is newer than the SPG but has some wear- its double braided kevlar and you will feel some rough spots where a few fibers got abraded. I believe there is plenty of life left with it. I replaced it and the new one did the same thing but it doesn't seem to worsen. Regardless I am selling this as is with a clear description and photos. The gauge and hose if new would be ~0, they are obviously not new but should have plenty of dives left in them.
