Description

After many suggestions for a smaller and less expensive pump, while keeping the same made in the USA pumps, and labor. We are happy to now have a 1/2" version of our drill pump.  Everything is the same as our very successful 3/4" pump except using a lower volume pump and 1/2 nipples.

Use this pump to transfer waste motor oil, vegetable oil, diesel....and just about any other fluid except water unless its re-lubricated afterwards to prevent rusting (we do not recommend transfer of volatile substances such as gasoline).
Benefits of this pump design:
• F
low
through
1/2" NPT fittings (approx 9 GPM)

Slip on 7/8 I.D. Hose or very snug fit for a 3/4" I.D. hose  or adapt to the 1/2" NPT threaded ends (approx. O.D of pipe nipples is .840")

Transfer multi-viscosity fluids with ease

All metal construction with exception to the o-ring seal

Improved replaceable internal O-ring seal suppresses leaking around the shaft*. Observe the 4th pic, the location of the internal o-ring seal that allows the shaft to be lubricated by the fluid being pumped.

3/8" 3-Flat drive allows direct connection to your 3/8" or larger corded or cord-less drill

Reversible to remove clogs, debris, etc. or to pump from either side of the pump or rotation of the drill

Rapid self-priming

Light weight and compact

No drive adapter to lose or fall off when in use, or pay extra up front costs

One hand operation (drill connects directly to the pump shaft)

Straight-thru design for better flow and shorter hose length
We have tested, used, and tried numerous pumps available on the market, only to find that they couldn't do what we needed them to do....move a whole bunch of fluid RIGHT NOW. Do yourself a favor and benefit from our experience, you simply cannot get a bigger bang for the buck than with these pump.
We also have had lots of questions about powering this pump off of an electric motor, I do not have any experience with that but would take a guess at a 1/3 hp or larger 1750 rpm motor. I can machine custom shafts or adapters to couple for addition fees.
I have done some basic testing of the suction or priming height of my pumps. With the internal pump being wetted with engine oil or thicker fluid, these pumps will draw or prime up to approx 22'. If the internal components are wetted with thinner fluids it will prime more than 8' high.
* Certain environmental conditions may cause some fluids to seep around the pump shaft while in operation. We cannot guarantee the pump to be "leak-proof".
