Professional, archival grade media.  "Gold/Gold" 4X to 52X Compatible.  Matte-gold top, gold record surface.  In the clear, center hub area, printed is, "MAM-A 24K GOLD ARCHIVE 700MB".
These discs include a Diamond Coat™ Protection surface, which resists scratching and fingerprints on the top of the disc.  Just below the lacquer surface & reflective layer on top of your disc is the dye layer, which is what stores your data.  Normal CD-R's leave this most vital area of the disc as vulnerable to scratches and fingerprints.  Diamond Coat™ Protection surface is an extra hard surface that protects the dye layer and keeps your data safe.
Thanks to Mitsui's patented organic Phthalocyanine dye, the most technically advanced dye in the world, and to the Gold reflective layer,
