In Dec. 2015, JVC/Taiyo Yuden stopped production, making a complete withdrawal from the market.  CMC Pro (Powered by TY Technology) has purchased JVC’s technology, and with the help of Taiyo Yuden engineers, are now manufacturing the CMC Pro media line to Taiyo Yuden's strict specifications & quality control standards.  Using authentic TY dye material & manufacturing processes, CMC Pro’s media are a perfect fit for professionals that require the lowest failure rate, highest playback compatibility, and superior printable surfaces.
The WaterShield media is the best way to ensure your disc's printed surface stays protected from harsh, everyday elements.  WaterShield printed surface discs repel water and are protected from wear and scratches.
Important Note:
Currently, there are several different DVD recording formats.  Please be sure of the format that your recorder requires before purchasing.
Make sure your 16X recorder's firmware is current.  CMC Pro recommends not printing on the outermost edge (117.5mm to 120mm) of the disc, because of the special waterproof and glossy surface.
Please note that glossy discs require less ink vs. standard inkjet printable discs.  Therefore, for best printing results, lower/adjust the 'ink saturation' level in your printer's settings.  Because of the extra thickness of this disc due to the glossy surface, this disc may not work with slot-loading devices
